26 July 2006        The new jetty is being built - this site will be updated by August 6

The design of the new jetty is just awesome. Once approved by relevant authorities, it'll be the most advanced and modern looking jetty this side of the known universe. A very special Thank-You to Lin Thorp, MaST (Trevor Faust & his team).  Clarence Council is getting into the act and proposed some serious upgrades to the current jetty-access.
All in all, we should be "up and sailing" before next summer. A hooooge opening day is planned, complete with pyrotechnics show, bands, live TV coverage, boats, celebrities, etc.
The new jetty plans are already inside.

A live web cam will be installed later this year so you can keep track of what's go'n on (as well as enjoying the scenery of what is arguably the best water view, again, this
side of the known universe).

Ever since our campaign, the Opossum Bay general store enjoyed a dramatic increase in traffic.................must be Robin's hamburgers that's do'n it (they're THE BEST).
